Hope everyone has had a Happy Mothers Day!!!!

Oh d..d..deer!!! Look at the baby fawn! 🦌

This particular pic is from a game camera that was set up on the north side of our wooded property several years ago… Even though I didn’t personally take it, I had to include it! It’s one of my favorite pics!

It looks like a sapphire diamond!

This poor little dear had a broken wing…Isn’t that just like us at times?

You can read about my unexpected photo moment with this beautiful, photogenic dragonfly here….

  1. Really love those photos of the dragonfly and fawn! I’m still trying for a pic of a fawn, amazing how hard it is and yet there are always so many in town! Maybe this year. Enjoy your day!😃📷

    • Thank you, Steve! We were shocked to find this on the game cam for sure! They are very hard to capture, as well as these hummingbirds around here! And the dragonfly surprised me. The one I saw today wasn’t very willing to be photographed!
I’ve never been able to get to my camera in time to get a pic of the deer, coyotes, or raccoons. I have the rabbits, but none ever turned out worthy to share. I have gotten a few of the hummingbirds, but it either blends in with the leaves in the background of the tree next to the porch or just looks too dark against the sky. Maybe one day you will get some of the deer, bear, swans and bison! We will have to wait till then! 😄
