One more to go, Stu! 😢😢😢

I saw this sweetness overload on the side of a country highway–on the way home one year from a Ladies Conference. 🦌

~”Yummy” Bacon Snowman dip I made for a Ladies Christmas Party at my church one year–1st and only time I ever made it ~

😋 If you guys haven’t ever had rolled ice cream before, you are missing out! I was skeptical at first–not gonna lie–when my youngest suggested going to a Japanese hibachi restaurant for ice cream…. I’m more of a Marble Slab kind of gal. This was the best ice cream EVER!!! They make and roll the ice cream right in front of you on a very cold slab. I chose the turtles candy flavor! 😋 🍦

My heart ❤️ potato! 🤗 I almost hated to peel this and cook it y’all! I was amazed at even finding it in a 10 lb bag of potatoes. “YUMMY”! 😋❤️

~This strange insect flew in and landed on my porch table for a lunch date! Poor hornet didn’t know when he accepted the invitation, that he WAS the lunch!!! 😱

~The color “yellow” paints my world with sunshine! 🌞

      • It’s so much easier to be sweet around other sweet positive people where we can just ourselves without the stress. Thanks for creating a warm and friendly place to be sweet. It feels good to be sweet!

      • You are welcome! I sure hope everyone knows they can be real at my place. I’m still peeling layers off of myself. Not meaning that I’m fake, but we all have scars, some more than others, who have had to put a mask on to hide the pain. I’m so glad that God is healing us all, piece by piece! 🙌😄

      • Me too. And on this lovely note—I’m going to hold that thought and sleep peacefully tonight. Scars and all! Good night, Renee. Rest well 🙂

      • I am at a loss I suppose….I told you on your post that I’m sorry you have had to go through so much. But it has made you a warrior! That our Creator loves you so much and us WP friends do, too! 🙏

      • Thank you, Renee for understanding and for your compassion. It feels good to take off the mask—like you said—that we hide our pain behind. And yes, this is what makes us strong warriors! Part of God healing my husband and I piece by piece.

It is a struggle to survive—but it is so worth it! He and I have much work to do together—and that is a good thing. Stay tuned…more good stuff to come—of this I remain hopeful :). Thank you for the love, it is received, appreciated and also given. So grateful for you, Renee to share in this experience. 🙏🏻💞😊 I have no doubt that our Creator loves us—all of us. That’s why He gave us WP 😉

      • I will pray for you and your husband to heal. And help me pray for mine. I know God has us all in His hands. And you are welcome. I’m glad there is more good stuff to come! I am so grateful for your love and friendship, too my friend! WP is awesome! 🤗❤️

      • This is just brightened my morning! And then I read about intercessory prayer…and now typing this, looking at my husband in the morning sunlight—I’m teary eyed. In a good way.

You got it. I’ll help you pray for your husband (and you!) to heal too!! I do believe that God already knows what we need—but still—we need to say it. And praying for each other (and our leaders) is special to God. Sigh…even if my prayers are clumsy…it’s just about our sincere willingness to pray for one another.
Thank you 🙏🏻Renee. Much love and gratitude. 😊💞

      • I’m glad you woke up with a “happy” going on!!! And we all need each other’s prayers for ourselves and family. Thanks so much for that! I have found that God hears my simplest prayers the best. Just sitting and talking to Him out loud like I would with a best friend, because that is exactly what He is for all of us! Girl, I can be at home washing dishes or some other chore and talking to Him out loud like a person is right in the room with me. I hope that makes sense. It’s amazing when He becomes that real to us! 🙏

      • When you say it like that—it makes total sense. But I start talking and then I’m like oh there I go again talking to myself! Ha! I agree with you—simple is best.
        Ahhhh….this helps. 😊

      • Hahahaha! Right? Of course, perhaps it is in public that we need to pray the most? Might make for a happier world? Wear a t-shirt that says “Don’t mind me, I’m just talking to God.” 🙃

      • I wonder sometimes if rude people are just there for us to practice “loving thy neighbor…”. Challenge us and make us stronger in our faith? It’s tough dealing with rudeness, (or arrogance…etc…) but I try and tell myself how awful it must be to live in their mind and then I look deeper in myself. Inhale….exhale…smile…say a silent prayer for us all…walk away…eat a piece of chocolate. 🙂

      • Haha! :). I was raised to believe that it was my job to change people (for the glory of God) to convert them. That is a huge responsibility for a kid! And if I failed—well, I was a disappointment to God.
It’s me who needs to change—not them! Oh gosh I could go on with this but I’ll just say how rewarding it is to learn to love truly ourselves first…❤️
