It seems everyone has been nominated for this wonderful award here lately, so I’m just going to keep my list of nominees short. You all are my favorites! I hope you truly know that!🥰🤗

Purple Rose’s Questions:

1. Are you usually early or late? At least 5 minutes before time, but every now and then I’m 5 minutes late. 😬 I know, I know! It’s one of my faults! Not good…😬🤷‍♀️

2. What website do you visit most often? Google…google knows all 😂

3. What job would you be terrible at? Anything with a lot of multi-tasking! waitress?

4. What job do you think you’d be really good at? Writer, teacher or teachers aid for special needs children, medical transcription.

5. What skill would you like to master? Painting. From a spiritual view–completely obeying what God would have me do, no matter how silly or stupid it may look to others. Noah built the ark even knowing it had never rained before!

6. What’s your favorite genre of book or movie? Christian Mystery and occasional romance.

7. What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch? The Walking Dead

8.  If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? WP, read, pray, sit and listen and watch nature…

9. If you could have a video of any one event in your life, what event would you choose? there are so many, I don’t know if I could choose! When I got saved maybe?

10. If you could have a never-ending candle that smelled like anything you wanted, what fragrance would you want it to be? Honey suckle or rose.

11. If you could make a 20 second phone call to yourself at any point in your life present or future, when would you call and what would you say? Past. To my 21 year-old self. “Don’t get married. You’re too young, and he’s not the one for you.”

 Dollface’s Questions:

  1. Are you a night owl or an early bird?Night owl, but I can be an early bird also. I get up at 2:50 a.m. nowadays Mon-Fri with my hubby.
  2. What is your favorite season? Why? Summer. I love the lazy days of basking in the sun and having sand beneath my toes! Mowing grass.
  3. What is your favorite treat on a hot summer day? Watermelon!
  4. What do you like to do in your free time besides blogging? Reading. Sitting on my porch, listening to nature, watching an occasional Hallmark mystery or romance movie.
  5. What would your dream home look like
  6. What helps you get through a rough day? Praying and singing with good Christian music
  7. Where would you like to go on vacation if money wasn’t an issue? Ireland. I know y’all get tired of hearing this one lol
  8. List your favorite post(s) that you have written. Tokens of Love and God’s True Purpose For Your Pain.
  9. List your favorite post(s) that someone else has written. I’m like Steve on this one! I’m not about to get myself in trouble😆! I have many anyways!

  11. What kind of posts are you looking forward to writing in the near future? Whatever the Lord lays on my heart!

Matt’s Questions to Me:

1. If I could visit you in your hometown, where would we go? (This is gonna be a long one!) First, I would take you to my place of worship. 😄

Then, I would take you to eat at one of the several restaurants in town…Rocky Creek Catfish has the best fried catfish you will EVER eat! It has a cabin decor that has Christmas decorations and nostalgia up all year long and a unique Gift Shop.

Landmark Cafe–an old seafood eating establishment.

I would also take you on a tour of the courthouse.

And also City Hall where the official Christmas Tree lighting takes place every year and Christmas Parade Party.

This is where the train comes through at the nature trail.

This still stands in front of the now Chinese restaurant. 😁

I even heard Elvis and John Wayne had a go at it!?😎🤷‍♀️

2. What is your blog about? It started out with my heart tokens from God. It’s a mix of random and everything in between.😁

3. If you could travel to another country, which one and why? already answered.

4. Who would you most like to spend a day with? My Grandma who passed when I was 12. I would have liked to get to know her better.

5. If Jesus were to knock on your door for a visit, what would you think? That I had died and went to heaven?!…Well, seriously, I would think that instead of Him sending me his love tokens this time that He had decided to just send Himself! ❤️🤗

6. What is your favorite holiday and how do you celebrate it? Christmas. Taking part in our church program and spending it with family.

7- What was your favorite subject in school? English, Biology and literature.

8- What are some songs that are meaningful for you? Those that speak to my heart in a particular moment.

9- What is your favorite kind of food? I have many favorites. Seafood, Mex, Chinese, soul food, appetizers, finger foods, fruit.

10- What is a book or are some books you have enjoyed recently? I like Brandilyn Collins or Karen Kingsbury the most. Recently, my niece wanted me to read “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers, which is totally out of my usual.

    • Thank you Viv! We have seriously been overdosing on watermelon! It’s so hot where my hubby works that he even takes some in his lunch to beat the heat! I went and got another one yesterday at our local fruit stand. 😜 Molly sounds like a sweetheart! My Chess will eat it a little. ❤️🤗

    • It is peaceful for the most part. I searched for pics of the war tank we have by our Youth Court building, but couldn’t find any online. If I had been home today, I would have went up and taken one myself! I may do that soon!

      • Oh Renee that’s sweet—it’s nice to be missed! the thumb is getting better every day—still ugly, but intact. The doctor did a great job stitching me up. 2 1/2 weeks out. 👍. The smoke is mostly gone here. Yesterday I pulled up weeds in the garden—so many thoughts of gratitude.

        And much gratitude for you! I can relate to your words and I like what you say about God…and our unique personalities. I know this to be true…

        There’s no dragonfly emoji! Hmmm…🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️ these will do! 💟 I like this heart button. Have a great big beautiful day, Renee!

        I’m glad you can relate to what I said about how God loves on each of us the way our unique personalities work! It’s amazing 😉 And I have searched for a dragonfly emoji! 😢It’s sad there isn’t one, but at least there are 💜 ❤️ 🥰 💕 💛💚💙💓💞💝💟🥳hearts! Awe-hope you have a great big beautiful heart-filled day!!!       • I loved the heart-shaped snow! And hearts seem to be everywhere for sure! I was sitting at the table on my back porch and looked up at the ceiling. The sun was glinting off my phone and was casting a heart shape!!! Dummy me tried to grab my phone to snap a pic of it! I finally figured out how to do this without moving off the table, but it would not do. I guess that heart token was only meant for me and not to be shared. 💜

        I’ll say to my husband, “look a heart!” And he says, “hmmm…looks like a butt”.

      • Oh my goodness! Sounds like something my husband would say! 😂🤣😂😅 But the strange part is when I have told people about this phenomenal that happens to me, some people have seen them as well! I just really believe there are a lot of us who need to hear that God loves us so much. That He’s always thinking about us. His Hallmark card to us!💜

      • It’s nice to make that connection—thinking of one another…It’s real. And yes, it is good to be reminded constantly of God’s love for—and our love for God too. All the various symbols to remind us—like you said tailored to our unique personalities. This I do believe.

      • I sure hope so! I think it’s a great way to express yourself! I wouldn’t know how to do something like that. I would love to get clips of the 2 hummingbirds here, but it seems teally hard to upload. I’m not too tech savvy 😂

      • Ha! Neither am I! This is all experimenting—I’m learning as I go. And I know I’m not using all the buttons correctly either. There’s a lot of buttons.
        I like singing lullabies and children’s songs—they just feel good. It’s not about “performing”—it’s just about making noise that sound nice. This is something new for me. And it’s wonderful! Thank you for the encouragement, Renee. I appreciate it for sure! 😊
