Sometimes It Takes A Mountain 🏔 🌊

The words in this song soothe my spirit EVERY single time I hear it. There is a short testimony close to the end of this version that feels like the balm of Gilead being applied to that troubled heart.

We all have those days when the bad seems to slip right through all God’s good blessings and sting our heart. We wonder if we can make it through THIS trial–the one that has knocked us to our knees.

The older I’ve gotten, I have realized that it’s not as easy to get up from that ‘knee prone’ position as it once was.

I’ve heard older people remark –with a twinkle in their eyes– and a laugh on their lips, that they were having a hard time getting back up from the floor if they ever got down there in the first place….So they try to make sure they get everything done down there while they’re at it!!! 😂

I guess I resemble that remark way too much these days! 🤦‍♀️😵 👵🏻+🌙= 😴 🐓=😂🤪🧐

That mountain, that troubled sea, that drives us to our knees is the same thing that is going to strengthen our heart.

We have need of patience a lot of times in that ‘knee-prone’ position. But when we fully get a revelation that HIS LOVE IS ALWAYS STRONGER, THAN WHATEVER TROUBLES US, we will learn to trust Him and believe.

Whatever knocked you down in the first place will be your SAVING GRACE in the end. It will be your confidence, when you come through to the other side. You will be able to look back one day and say,

I MADE IT THROUGH THE FLOOD AND THE FIRE!!!

Hallelujah He brought me out!

Today, my friend, I pray God gives you a set of really soft knee pads to cushion the fall–and a prayer life out of this world!

You will get a lot accomplished while you are down there!

•Rest for your soul.

•Strength for the battle.

•Patience in the struggle.

•Compassion for your fellow man.

•Renewed FAITH and JOY.

  7. I know what it’s like to find yourself in a dark place and knowing the the only way to get through was by crying out to Him on my face. But the moment you draw closer to God the enemy attacks you in every single way. I’ve been hit with one attack after another, and after spending time with God in prayer and the Word, I would make it up, only to get knocked down once again.

    There were moments I got so hurt and angry at people and situations that I had no control over, but I had to remember the One who is in control, the one who sits on the throne, He rules and He reigns and gives me peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
