Happy Fall Ya’ll 🍁✌🏼

Feeling JOYOUS on this fine day 😃
My shadow comes in peace LOL

Pay no attention to the unkept flower bed. I haven’t done anything to it as of yet due to sickness.

I can’t wait to fire this baby up soon!

  1. I love your good wishes in your introductory remarks. I wish to return those happy thoughts to you: “ “May God grant you always…A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you.” God bless you, Renee!

    • Thanks Yonnie! 😄 And you are so welcome! Thanks for stopping in! He is very alert and very strong. He has held his head up a lot and his body pretty much since he was born. We do help him out though. His mom did the same thing when she was a baby.

  2. Thank you for a trip down memory lane. I grew up in the South, moving to Washington state and then Pennsylvania. I grew up in a brown Fall. In PA, it is mostly yellow with touches of orange and red. Everyone goes leaf peeping. But no one seems to go leaf peeping in the South. They wait for the trees to finish doing their thing and then they rake them up. Of course, finding the nuts under the pecan trees was always a special treat.

    • A true southerner at heart are you then? Pennsylvania is beautiful! We have a few red and yellow leaves in with the brown here. Mostly brown though! Our leaves aren’t much worthy of leaf peeping lol! Definitely raking… 😜 My dad had two pecan trees and he and my stepmom always kept us in good supply of pecans, but sadly they have passed. We have lots of hickory nuts here, but I wouldn’t suggest trying to crack them. They are very hard to get out of the shell.

      • My parents had one huge pecan tree in the front yard, very productive. There was a row of nonproductive trees, but then you need male and female trees to make pecans. Yes, I love the South, just not the heat. I start feeling I’ll when the temperature is above 70.
