There have been so many things going on in my life. Happy and sad. Good and bad.
Bittersweet.
As I recently reminded my friend, when she was feeling overwhelmed…
Just put one foot in front of the other.
Take one step at a time.
Sometimes that’s all we can do. That’s all we have the strength to do. And don’t forget to BREATHE!
Sunday I really received something wonderful from God’s preached Word. We had an evangelist come and bless us with his singing and preaching. Maybe it will help you like it blessed me.
Sunday’s Sermon I can’t remember the full title, but It’s along the lines of A Door Of Hope.
And I also wanted to share the past Wednesday night’s sermon from my pastor. He and his wife have really been going through the fire. Please pray for them. Their baby boy, Gentry, was born premature. He is still in the hospital and cannot be released until this apnea passes. He must be able to breathe without having episodes where his breathing stops.
Here is what he preached last Wednesday night.
I had just pulled into my Aunt Ruthie’s drive to check on her and my phone rang, so I sat in my car to take the call before getting out. I look over to my left and there was a heart on her garbage can!
And then a cute little squirrel climbed on her fence and posed really nice next to her bottle insulators. But as luck would have it, I could not take the pic due to being on the phone! 😢
Doors – quite the theme this week! Yours is perfect. XO

I just went over and checked out your blog. Wow! Your poem is gorgeous! I had not seen it till now. This went right along with the first sermon I posted here called “A Door Of Hope.” (I cant remember the full title, but this is close 😆) And Nichop posted something that talked a lot on the lines also of this sermon… Maybe y’all need to hear that sermon, too. It really encouraged me!

I think God is speaking. He does many times in themes. Thanks for the inspiration your poem gave me and another confirmation of His working….and I don’t mind the tag at all! Thank you so much. I think there are several who need to hear about “doors.”

Love that you saw that heart there, always signs everywhere that we are surrounded by love. I will keep your pastor in my prayers. Have a wonderful Day.

Yes! I was surprised to see the heart! It’s amazing that God loves us so much to send us His love tokens when we least expect it. I have been running myself ragged trying to take care of those I love here lately. I have gotten sick again. 😢 But it’s all good.🙂 Thanks for the prayers for my pastor’s little boy. He is still having apnea spells. He must have 5 days free from these spells before they will send him home. They have had to start over on the count, because he had another spell. 😢 Hope you have a wonderful day also! 🤗

Our bible study this week was on “hope” without it the love of God cannot be shed abroad in our hearts. Roman 5:1-5 Therefor , having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance and perseverance, proven character, and proven character , hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of god has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirits who was given to us.

Thanks so much Lisa! I know they will appreciate the prayers! Pastor’s wife has stayed 24/7 in the hospital over an hour away with their little one for 2 months now. Pastor has to go back and forth. They are so tired! I believe Gentry will come home when it’s God’s timing. 🙏🏼
