Stubborn love is hard to destroy.
Trusts God through it all.
Doesn’t quit when situations get difficult.
Hangs on to the bitter end.
I admit, this song has become my anthem for this past troubling year, when I recently heard it for the first time.
I even woke up with some of its stirring words on my mind this morning.
“When I cried out to you Jesus, you were there faithfully.”
Maybe that’s where you are today, my friend.
Wondering is He REALLY faithful?
Or are they just empty words blotted down on a page to make everything look flowery and prettified. (Yep, my own version of the word)
I AM FAITHFUL.
Is what He whispers into every dark situation.
In every corner, of every doubt clouding your mind.
When you’ve almost lost hope.
When your peace has been shattered. And you can’t get out of bed because your mind and body is completely exhausted.
Your joy highjacked.
And even when the enemy has risen up continually. Beating his chest to the drum of fear’s tempo.
Hope IS NOT lost.
Your JOY is returning.
God is your refuge. A very present help in the time of trouble.
Believe that!
Lift your head!
Don’t leave your smile at home this morning.
Wear it as a necessary accessory.
KNOWING WITHOUT A DOUBT, God IS faithful! He will bring you through.

Blessings Renee. Our Lord’s mercy helps us to see more of that blue sky. Praying for God to continue to share His everlasting light. May your spirit be warmed by His grace and peace.

The psalmist said, ” I would have lost heart unless I had believed I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” We cannot afford to lose hope but must press on because our change will come. Tha k you for sharing these encouraging words.
