“Lord, you are my life. Why am I afraid? You give me strength, all along the way.
I know you won’t leave, in the midst of pain, you’ll lead and guide me, on a path ever plain.
When life is an apocalypse, and enemies rise up as zombies, to eat up my flesh–they shall not harm me.
They are destroyed, falling to the ground, as Your Host ascends up again, heavenly bound.
I would have stumbled, believing you weren’t good, but I waited on you, knowing you could.
Breathe new life in me, give me a new horizon, fill me with Your joy, my faith is rising.
“In this will I be confident, One thing will I follow, To see Your glory, in the sunrise of tomorrow.
On dark days, when my fears are still racing, Your mercy and truth, my heart will be encasing.
When floods threaten, I remember Your letters of red, You put me high on the Rock, where I lift up my head.
When enemies chase, over the water’s edge, You place me on the Rock, where I’ll lift up my head.
Standing still, I will behold your salvation round about, and sing praises of joy in the midst of doubt.
I wait on You, Lord. I will wait— patiently, on You.
