This Is How I fight My Battles

Before service

It felt good to be at church this morning for our first ever Drive-Up Church! 🙌🏼 Even if it was just sitting in my car with the windows rolled down. There was a nice breeze blowing through.

I have to confess, I was balling by the time they sung Psalm 23. (I Am Not Alone) We take so many things for granted, like being able to attend church. Coming and going as we please. I had to sing along. 🎶 🎤

💕The lyrics:

The Lord is my Shepherd
He goes before me
Defender behind me
I won’t fear
I’m filled with anointing
My cup’s overflowing
No weapon can harm me
I won’t fear
Hallelujah, I am not alone
He’s my Comfort,
Always holds me close
He always guides me
Through mountains and valleys
His joy is refreshing
Restores my soul
Mercy and goodness
Give me assurance
That I’ll see His glory Face to face
Hallelujah, I am not alone
He’s my Comfort,
Always holds me close
Hallelujah, I am not alone
He’s my Comfort,
Always holds me closeYour Spirit lives within me
So I will walk in Your peace
Your Spirit lives within me
My victory, My victory

And now for a little church humor. I saw these two funny pics circulating on fb. Thought it might lighten the mood. Hey, if we can’t laugh through our struggles, we will never make it!

The joy of the Lord is our strength.

That one got me! 😁

Hope you each had a blessed Sunday! Hang in there, JOY comes in the morning! 🤗😄

  1. Hey, I was wondering if you could join my Email list. I add my family (I call followers, family) to it so I can keep in touch. You know, sometimes, when we don’t really get in touch through blogging, There would be the Email list, to continue our friendship bond💐
So what do you think?😃
Could you please join?

Even as short as it was it really did my heart good ❤ I'm going to have to write those "drive up church signs" down, though 🙂 So awesome!! Thank you for sharing this amazing post, I just loved it!

    • Awe that touches me so much Alicia! I should have uploaded the whole sermon that morning. All I could do was cry, feeling the Presence of God.
I can imagine your baby sings beautifully! I loved to hear my girls sing growing up. You may have to record her singing for us! 💜💕🤗

      • I have actually thought about videoing her, she’s 14 and she is an amazing little singer, she kind of has the Lauren Daigle voice…She definitely didn’t get her vocal talent from me LOL

      • Oh my goodness, Alicia!!! Lauren Daigle is my all time favorite! I pray that the Lord will use your daughter’s voice mightily for Him. 🙌🏼 And I can imagine she did get her talent from her mom! 😉
