confirmation

To attest to the truth or validity of something; the removing of doubts by an authoritative statement or indisputable fact.

Have you ever been in the middle of praying, zeroing in on the tangible evidence you can see with the naked eye and get interrupted by a thought you weren’t even thinking about? The enemy loves it when we focus on how far away the promises of God are in our lives.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭

Jesus stands at our heart’s door and knocks; If we will hear His Voice, He will come in and sup with us. And He will also give us direction and instructions in every area of our lives.

To know His Will and HEAR His Voice is so important in our walk with God.

If we hear and obey, He will guide and order our steps, hear our prayers and answer.

It’s good to be willing and obedient when we hear the first time, but when we get a confirmation, that’s when we know without a shadow of a doubt how to move in the direction He is desiring us to go.

In a conversation yesterday, someone said this:

All isn’t lost.

I looked up in surprise and asked, “What did you say?” They repeated the same words back to me. I snapped to my senses and realized this was a God-moment. This phrase hasn’t been in this person’s vocabulary. Silently, I thanked the Lord for caring about me and my prayers. He always reminds me He is there.

He’s ever working behind the veil, past the “things” we can only see with our limited 2020 vision.

God always wants us to remember THERE IS STILL HOPE.

DON’T DARE GIVE UP NOW!!!

You may not see anything happening, and you may have lost a few things in this fight, but not everything is lost.

The devil may have stolen a leg or an arm from your loved ones, (spiritually speaking) but he hasn’t stolen their soul! And you will RECOVER ALL, if you faint not!

The baptistery where I was baptized.

THERE IS STILL HOPE!

The cross hanging over our baptistery.

He has already paid the price for every promise He has given us. That price did not come cheap.

“And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.

For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
‭‭Acts‬ ‭27:22-25‬ ‭

STAND STRONG!!!

Cling to hope.

There is still hope.

All isn’t lost.

ALL IS NOT LOST. 🙌🏼

  1. Amen. Sermon I listened to yesterday reference the woman in Old Testament that had a son fall out in field then died. She told no one her troubles except the one who could help her, she didn’t speak to her husband or Elisa assistant , only him and when she spake to him she repeated the very words that God spoke to him when Elijah went up in chariot without death. Then Elisa came and she stood outside door and waited she didn’t have to see the miracle she trusted God for it outside the door then it finally opened and out came her son! A miracle! Never Give Up!

  2. Thank you Renee…….in our current season, we all need the HOPE that only CHRIST can give us! No, all is never lost, because there is always HOPE…….everyday. I love it when someone speaks truth to us and it is a confirmation from GOD! May you continue to be blessed in this way from those around you. GOD is in all those details for us! With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!!

  3. I think sometimes a good bit of darkness could be driven back if we only assured one another of this on a more regular basis. Why we don’t always reach out is beyond me. I often blame a lack of time, but after reading this, nothing seems as important as making sure our brothers and sisters are reminded of this! We never know who might be fighting a battle we know nothing about. It seems like a small gesture, but then I think of stories from people who said they were planning suicide and a simple smile from another person made them rethink the decision. It made me wonder if I might ever have steered someone away from that dark chasm. And this makes me intend to make sure that, even if I never know, I’m going to put myself out there and remind them ❤

Thank you so much for sharing! Love you!

  4. Stacey, I have learned when something won’t let me be, something to tell someone or share with someone, it very well may be just what that person needed. We doubt ourselves way too much. And it’s not really about us anyway. I have totally missed the mark before by not sharing with someone else, because of fear. But if there is ever a time to be obedient to God’s leading, it’s now! May we all hear and obey and encourage our friends for times like these! Love you big my friend!
