Messenger call with my youngest grandson. 😆
I’m starting with the woman in the mirror
I’m asking her to change her ways
And no message could have been any clearer

No Message Clearer

It couldn’t be any clearer, Its very plain to see, the woman in the mirror, the one staring back at me —

She’s stuck in a rut, With wheels turning too fast, gotta get out of the mud, Make a change that will last.

For the “love” of God, I’m asking she change her ways, Gonna shake my finger and mouth, “Girl, get up out of that grave!”

He took her by the hand, “Damsel, I say to you, ARISE, Talitha, cumi, you are loosed, Set free from your demise.”

There was no message clearer, Written all over her face, She was really changing, Now the world would be a better place.

  1. amazing how much better everything looks when our perspective changes about ourselves. I get in a rut due to aging, ache, pains and the knowledge this will not end till heaven. I use to think, oh if I had tons of money things would be better but it cannot stop aging despite all the product that says it can. When I am in that rut nothing looks good so I can’t see the goodness around me. But God, never leaves me there, He always sends a song, a picture, a hug and good word such as your post to remind me if He is the only goodness in my life, that is enough.

    • Yep! I had to get rough with myself that day. I laugh now thinking back to me actually pointing my finger in the mirror at “self” and telling her to put a smile on her face and get her act together again. I comically took a pic of that moment. I wanted to remind my future self that she made it past that moment. We will have those days. And the sudden changes in our lives will not break who we are. Money can’t buy happiness, even though it’s good to have that stuff to pay our bills. God fed the sparrow, so He will continue to take good care of us all. Betty, He is totally enough through it all! I totally agree, He always sends encouragement here on WP, through His Word and so many different areas. Thank you so much! 🤗

  7. No message clearer; she’s fearfully and wonderfully made… in the image! Reflecting the light, a heart glowing; in His beauty! It’s clear to see, says the man, on this side of the mirror! Blessings, my sister!
