I may not know much in this life, but I do know I am loved very much by a God who sees ME….

….ME! 😲

Little ole’ me.

The small dot on this huge planet.

And even knows my heart.

What I am thinking…the plans He has for me.

But not only for me, but for you, too, my friend.

He loves you with an everlasting love.

When I think of the love of God, my mind goes straight to the scripture in Psalms 18–where I’ve been so many times in my walk with God—

“In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of his temple, And my cry came before him, even into his ears.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭18:6‬ ‭

Us Momma Bears (or Poppa Bears) can be very protective of our bear cubs, and the scriptures in this chapter paint a very clear picture of the fierce love God has for His children.

I can see the child in us coming home from school tattling to our father, “Daddy so-in-so hit me!!” 😩 😭 And us bursting into tears in our frustration.

Our Daddy responding, “Oh don’t you worry your pretty little head off Baby Girl, I will take care of it!!! Nobody messes with my little Princess!”

And in those scriptures, the earth shook and trembled. Things were moved and shaken, because our Daddy was wroth.

He rode a cherub to fight for us. He flew on the wings of the wind.

Just to save us.

He sent out his arrows. He shot out lightnings, just to get to his girl.

“He sent from above, he took me, He drew me out of many waters.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: For they were too strong for me.

They prevented me in the day of my calamity: But the LORD was my stay.

He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because he delighted in me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭18:16-19‬ ‭

Make no mistake. He loves us THAT much!!!

That love is fierce!

Rest today knowing God is taking care of all that concerns you.

All that worries you.

Depresses you.

Oppresses you.

He will take care of you!

He will draw you out of the waters of afflictions that have threatened to go clean over your soul.

And there is no need to worry when our Daddy finally gets to where we are.

And His arms of protection encircle us.

We are His children.

And we are safe.

All is finally well with our soul.
