What a beautiful sight this morning! Standing at my kitchen window, waiting for the coffee to finish brewing, I see a bright red male cardinal, his female companion, and several unknown little brown birds, scratching around for breakfast.

In the background I can hear birds calling to one another. Maybe they’re happy that the rain has let up for a while.

It’s through these ‘little’ things that I take life in general for granted. I have a roof over my head out of the rain and food that I didn’t have to hunt.

Even though we have trials in our life that pelt down on us like the rain that washed the birds this morning, God is mindful of us. He has every detail planned, and we don’t have to worry.

Yes, we get sick, face things that we wish God would not let us go through, but through it all, He will give you seeds of grace to carry you through, till you get that miracle!

Even though God’s creatures are very special to Him, you have even more value than they! Enough gabbing already! I believe there is a freshly percolated cup of joe calling my name! Have a blessed day!
