AWW howdy to you. I love your photos and what a sweet sweet baby to top it it off. I hope you are doing well. I really love fall too. That cup of coffee is looking really good! โค
Hello Silas! What a cutie you are! So sorry Renee, that youโve been under the weather. Hope you feel better soon! Flower beds can wait. Silas canโt!!
Awe thanks Jan! I actually felt good enough to get outside a little this morning. Iโm going to make it with the help of the Lord! ๐And yes those beds will have to wait. Silas has needed a lot of attention today. He was a little fussy. ๐๐ผ
I’m so glad you have your priorities straight. I often did “work” instead of tending to my loved ones in a way they needed and deserved… and look back now with regret. You live, my dear, in a way that eliminates as many “If Ownlies” as possible! โค
Jan, I believe thereโs a reason for everything in our lives! You worked because it was meant to be. And that is ok! Iโm so glad you are out having fun, taking rides in the countryside! No regrets! ๐ ๐ค
I love your good wishes in your introductory remarks. I wish to return those happy thoughts to you: โ โMay God grant you always…A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you.โ God bless you, Renee!
What a sweet thing to say! Thanks so much! I accept those well-wishes with a great big hug my friend and a great big smile!! ๐ค๐๐ You are such a sweetheart Jan! A real blessing to all those around you! God Bless you always! ๐
๐๐คฃ I have a terrible southern accent I know! I have tried to improve, but I think itโs hopeless!๐ฉ You can take the girl out of the country, but not the country out of the girl ๐ฌ๐๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
Silas, Hi ๐ there! Welcome to WordPress. Congratulations, he is absolutely beautiful. So handsome and bright eyed.
Wonderful post, enjoyed all the photographs. Thanks for sharing ๐ค๐๐
Thanks Yonnie! ๐ And you are so welcome! Thanks for stopping in! He is very alert and very strong. He has held his head up a lot and his body pretty much since he was born. We do help him out though. His mom did the same thing when she was a baby.
How is he already a month old? It seems like he was just born.๐ฑโค…I was just listening to some preaching someone sent me a link to and thought of you! ๐ฎ
Thank you for a trip down memory lane. I grew up in the South, moving to Washington state and then Pennsylvania. I grew up in a brown Fall. In PA, it is mostly yellow with touches of orange and red. Everyone goes leaf peeping. But no one seems to go leaf peeping in the South. They wait for the trees to finish doing their thing and then they rake them up. Of course, finding the nuts under the pecan trees was always a special treat.
A true southerner at heart are you then? Pennsylvania is beautiful! We have a few red and yellow leaves in with the brown here. Mostly brown though! Our leaves arenโt much worthy of leaf peeping lol! Definitely raking… ๐ My dad had two pecan trees and he and my stepmom always kept us in good supply of pecans, but sadly they have passed. We have lots of hickory nuts here, but I wouldnโt suggest trying to crack them. They are very hard to get out of the shell.
My parents had one huge pecan tree in the front yard, very productive. There was a row of nonproductive trees, but then you need male and female trees to make pecans. Yes, I love the South, just not the heat. I start feeling I’ll when the temperature is above 70.
Awe! Iโm glad to have reminded you of family! This accent owns me, and itโs not letting me go no time soon it seems! ๐ Thanks-Silas sure can make a person smile! He is my sweetheart! ๐
