Stopping in to say hey. Haven’t posted in a while. To let you know I’m still breathing and how my life is going. I have taken on a job. Sighs….
To be quite honest, I’ve been too tired to blog much these days. Maybe I can get back into the groove very soon.
Until then, I’m sharing something from a fb memory from back in 2014. Hope you have a Happy Sunday!
What Do You Hear?
God still speaks today, through many avenues. The Bible, preaching, songs, nature, and the list goes on.
My question is, “Are you listening?” I was reminded Sunday morning while getting ready for church that God still has all power and the answer to every prayer/question.
I love music, so many times God has reassured me of His presence in the form of a song.
That’s what happened Sunday. It started out with me praying, and a song came on the radio. I went to church and the exact song was sung, and then later on, you guessed it, it happened again.
It didn’t stop there. The next day, I read a devotion dealing with what the song was referring to. I was overwhelmed with a renewed revelation of just how real and powerful God’s Might is.
Many times we think if it doesn’t happen right away, that God doesn’t hear, or doesn’t love us, but those are just the scare tactics the enemy tries to defeat us with.
God will perform the promise at the appointed time. It is up to you and me to speak the faith that it takes, to see our miracles take place.
There is power in the name of Jesus
to break every chain, break every chain, break every chain….What do YOU hear? I hear chains falling.
Currently, the song that keeps coming on the radio when I first get in my car and then comes on again on the ride home is Believe for It by CeCe Winans

So glad to see your post Renee. Hope you can get back into the groove soon.
He does hear us and takes the time to let us know that he does by reassuring us and it helps us to wait on His timing.
Blessings to you Renee.

Thank you! I miss you, too sweet girl!
No m’am it’s not! You are so right! And I am waking up at 3, the old time I got up with my hubby to fix his lunch, before he retired. 🤦♀️ Old habits, I guess! And most the time can’t get back to sleep before the alarm goes off.
I hope you are enjoying your job. 🙂💕💜🦋

His love speaks, and His heart says; believe, Him for it! Father, I pray your peace, a strength for my sister. May her heart, rest gently, on the breadth of your love! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Renee, best wishes with your job. Sometimes life needs time to balance itself. Thanks for sharing your witness with this post. The more that believers read and study the Word, the more interconnected the Gospel becomes. Blessings.
