Feasting On Love

A business near a Chinese restaurant. I couldn’t pass the moment without a pic.

It’s my prayer you are feasting daily on God’s love.

Come rest your feet under His great big wooden banquet table filled with lots of dishes of the fruit of His Spirit.

“O God, thou art My God; early will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee In a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

To see thy power and thy glory, So as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭63:1-2‬ ‭

Can you imagine the laughter permeating the room as Jesus shares another one of His attention-grabbing stories? We are all holding our breath and hanging onto the edges of our seats, waiting for the ending. What will be the moral of the parable this time?

A recent lunch with the girls—my friends—sunset on the beach.

He has been a good friend to us all. And we are blessed to share in the fellowship of His presence.

What a fitting comment from the fortune cookie from our Sunday lunch—the hubby and I—at a local Chinese restaurant.

Daily, we must sit at His table to be filled with the bread and meat of His Word. Are you hungry? Are you thirsty for more of what the “Good News” has to offer?

“Like the finest apple tree in the orchard is my lover among other young men. I sit in his delightful shade and taste his delicious fruit. He escorts me to the banquet hall; it’s obvious how much he loves me.”
‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

My little friend, “Stinky,” the LOVE bug, was back last week— the one with the heart on its back. Aren’t we greatly cherished by the King of Kings?
Come and dine at His table—Loved the woodwork and decoration in this seafood restaurant. 💕
Jesus is the lighthouse, shining the way.
My last trip to the beach this summer. Missing the season already. 😔

Well, I will keep this short for now.

You are loved with an everlasting love from our Father and Creator of this world.

Never forget that.

You ARE enough.

  1. The stink bugs were terrible in NJ… I’m in TX now and we don’t have them here as bad. But my parents in TN sure do! I don’t miss those little guys a bit! LOL But I have to agree… a evening with friend is the tonic for a long day… or any day really! Looks like an amazing time was shared. Blessings.

    • You know, we don’t usually have very many stink bugs here. This little guy is the first I’ve seen in a while. He hung out around my front porch for a while and finally moved on I guess. I haven’t seen it this week. The ones I have seen here are usually pale green.
Yes, I agree! Friends are the best! We had a really good time. Thanks for reading! 💜
