Those scars you wear were not meant to cause shame forever but serve as a witness of the power that lies within you.
The power of Jesus Christ who abides in you and through you, and you in Him.
Today, I am so blessed to have scars in my life. They serve as a reminder that I was healed of something. Something I could not overcome in my own power. They are visible so others may see, neither were their scars in vain. Proof of a lesson learned.
I’m grateful also for the scars Jesus bore from the agony of His cross. The nails He took for my sin.
May we remember nothing is in vain. It has purpose.
YOU have purpose.
