This is for the faithful ones.
The ones who have given money and time to those around them in need.
To the weary ones who have invited so many to church, but rarely see a product of their efforts.
For all the Bible studies you’ve taught.
The souls you’ve listened to, talked with and prayed with late at night in their desperation.
For the ones who have went out of their way to share a ride to church when they barely had enough gas for themselves for the week.
For the ones who reached out in any way they could—in huge and small ways.
With a few groceries here.
A cup of coffee there.
Five dollars to that homeless man on the street.
For those who have babysat to help out a single, working mother without asking for a penny in return.
For going out of your way to speak to and sit with that lonely, shy person on the back pew who showed up after church had already started.
And because of all the prayers you prayed for the prodigal’s return, that appeared to be bouncing off the ceiling…
and for the prayers you prayed for those around you who were hurting, the outcasts and the ones in need.
And for those who stepped out in worship like David did, not caring what anyone thought but God.
Every Effort Made a Difference.
Every Kind Word changed a mindset.
Every smile meant the world to someone.
It wasn’t in vain.
It wasn’t for nought.
When you cast your bread on the water, it will come back to you.
It’s all in timing.
God’s timing, not yours.
You still have purpose.
You still have a place in God’s kingdom.
You are still being used of God.
So don’t give up when you, at first, can’t see God moving.
Take heart, my friend!
Your efforts are truly being noticed.
YOU’RE IMPORTANT to those around you and to God.
Be Encouraged!💜

Thank you for this beautiful reminder Renee. We can get weary but we are meant to press on and not give up.
God bless you 💙

Your post made me think of Hebrews 6:10

I had to look it up, Big Brother. What a beautiful concept—a labor of love shown towards His name in ministering to the saints! Love it! May we all find ourselves doing this for Jesus! 🤗
