After seeing a post that Stu shared, it reminded me that I still had this unfinished post in my drafts….just floating around in limbo…So here ya go…😆
There is a very wise Japanese proverb that says, “Nana korobi, ya oki” which means, “Fall down seven times, stand up eight.”
We WILL fall! Make no bones about it. This flesh cannot be counted upon. We will sin at times. When I would do good, evil is present with me.

We WILL make mistakes! Our enemies (flesh, world, devil) will trip us up when we least expect it….BUT……
“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.”
Micah 7:8 KJV
We WILL get discouraged! And yes, we will be a discouragement to others. It’s a sad fact.
But greater than this truth is an even greater reality….
GOD WILL STILL LOVE US ANYWAY!
In spite of our weaknesses, faults or any kind of failures we will ever have. He keeps on forgiving. And so should we. Strive to walk in His steps.
“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
Ephesians 4:32 KJV
Ask for forgiveness when you “FLUB-UP.”
Most people do want to show the same mercy that they have been shown from God. It may take time if the knife cut a little too deep, but it’s nothing a couple of stitches of repentance and setting our pride aside won’t fix!
—Give it time. And Never, Ever give up HOPE or your JOY—

Get back up. Dust the seat of your derrière off. Try and try again.

“Nana korobi, ya oki!”

Great Reminder😁 Love this post!

Renee, this concept is Scriptural. Here is the verse:
Pro 24:16 KJV
16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Wow! That would have been perfect with this post!!! I think I need to add this to the post, if you don’t mind? Thank you so much! 💜🙂

Yep. We have fallen many times and yet we stand here still. Only God can make that miracle happen.

I have over 10 posts waiting to be published. I try to be as kind and forgiving as I can. Especially at work when people aren’t so kind to me when things go wrong

You are doing good Michelle! I’m still working on 37! 😱🤦♀️ That includes awards and tags I’ve been working on for a while! I think we are all in need of kindness all around, especially at work. If only everyone had a heart to do whatever it took to do good to others. 🙏🏼

love this Renee; we are told to strive for holiness; (Which is the goal) but Christ because died for sinners, sin is never from us

Thank you Brenda🙂 Striving for holiness is a daily for me! There are days when we are tired and lose sight of that goal for a few minutes! But He is faithful and just!

Chuck Swindoll always says the Christian walk is three steps forward and two back. I believe that phrase is 100 percent true.

I believe it, too Betty. Every time we fall, we should get back up.

True we will fail and make mistakes, but thanks for the reminder that when we do, we can get up and keep going by God’s grace.
