Ring of Fire

A landmark in our community

“She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: “You are the God who SEES me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” Genesis 16:13

Isn’t it amazing how God can just change something around? How he can stop a wheel in motion? Calm a raging sea? Quieten a fear? Cool a fevered brow? Change a heart. Bring hope to the weary soul? Peace to a hurting world.

I’m so glad that God sees. That He is still the ring of fire. In the midst of nations full of doubt, wondering the next move.

Will He see? Will He save? Does He truly hear? But you say….

WHERE ARE YOU, GOD?

There is a need for HOPE. To dispel every doubt. Every longing of the lonely heart.

See. Me. LORD.

And He will. He DOES SEE.

He is the ring of fire all around you and your situation. Your protection from harm. Your Savior, riding on a cherub to save His beloved when there is a need.

Hope in the Lord.

He

Sees

YOU!!!!

  1. Amen! You know from the time covid 19 began, I have heard this question on numerous occasions! That made me wonder when everything is fine and everyone is happy, no one asks the whereabouts of God. But then when things start getting difficult, that’s when one gets to hear this question. May the Lord help us to always keep Him us at good and bad times as well!!

  2. I have to say, I have never heard this verse before!! And I’ve probably read over it a dozen times!! Isn’t that something? I guess the good Lord knows WHEN we need to see it 🙂 And I needed that today! Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning… in housework… professional work… worries about my children… wondering where God is leading us… the list seems ongoing. But I guess that’s life ❤ This one little post brings me so much encouragement today, Sis, thank you for it!!

  3. Same here, until I listened to this video! Goodness it just broke my heart what Hagar went through… And for God to see her, even knowing her child was not meant “to be” the chosen son of Abraham and Sarah…He still had compassion on them both. He always SEES us all. We are all His favorite!
I am right with you in the drowning part lol. It seems everything that will be shaken, will be…washer broke down, having my oldest grand’s party tomorrow…. 🙇‍♀️
Praying for you, Stacey! God knows and sees! 💜🙏🏼
